A space for queer artists and community
Umeå has long lacked dedicated spaces for queer performers and audiences, leaving both artists and community members without a home to connect, create, and celebrate together. Club Bisous is here to change that.
The event will showcase a lineup of diverse queer talent, including performances by burlesque star Lady Rivet and drag artist Misty May, with more artists to be announced. A dynamic DJ lineup will keep the dance floor alive throughout the night, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive experience for all attendees.
Supporting the future of queer culture in umeå
Club Bisous is more than an event; it is a movement. Escarpin Productions is committed to building a sustainable queer nightlife scene in Umeå, creating ongoing opportunities for artists, and fostering a community where everyone feels welcome and celebrated. But to make this vision a reality, we need the community's support.
To help cover production costs and ensure the success of this and future events, early bird tickets are available now via OpenCollective. Purchasing an early ticket is a direct investment in the future of queer culture in Umeå, helping to establish a platform for queer artists and a safe, joyous space for the LGBTQIA+ community.
A message from the producer
“We are building more than just a party—we are creating the space that has been missing in Umeå,” said Benjamin Sientzoff, Producer at Escarpin Productions. “Queer artists deserve a stage to perform, grow, and be seen. Our community deserves a place where we can come together without fear. The success of our first event, 'Everybody Say Love', which sold out three days before the event, showed us just how much this is needed. Right now, there is a real gap: no dedicated stage for queer performers, and no established safe space for the community. Club Bisous is here to change that. Our goal is to create a lasting, community-centered movement that extends beyond one night, with workshops, cabarets, and more.”
